Albums are rated on a scale of 0-11 – with anything below a 4.5 being a negative review, and anything above a 5.5 being a positive review.
We calculate our ratings by rating each song individually on a scale of 0-10, adding them together then adding 2 to the score for every 30 minutes of runtime for the album, before dividing by the amount of tracks on the album to get the final score.
Ratings are entirely subjective and opinion based, and no rating given is a reflection on our thoughts specifically on the artist. Ratings are based on the merit of the music alone.
Influence and creativity – while important – are not considered when scoring an album. Ratings are based purely off how good we think to sounds.
