Villarreal manager Unai Emery has today joined Aston Villa as manager
The former Arsenal and PSG manager will take up the role beginning on November 1st. Emery boasts an incredible CV, including 4 Europa Leagues, the 2017-18 Ligue 1 title and the 2013-14 European coach of the season. Emery’s teams have won almost 500 games over his 900 game career.
He replaces Steven Gerrard, who was sacked on October 20th. It is yet to be announced who he has brought with him from his backroom staff.
