Social unrest is leading us towards dangerous territory. We have to do something.
On the 29th of July tragedy befell Southport. Three young girls lost their lives and Ten others were injured in a mass stabbing.
This event – whilst horrific – isn’t unusual in the United Kingdom. It is just another in a long line of societal failings which resulted in innocent people losing their lives. Whilst most people who grow up going through a lot don’t commit crimes, the link between difficult childhoods and crime rates is one which is evident, not just through correlation but also through causation. Yet this time the reaction wasn’t normal.
The perpetrator was born in the UK, a 17-year-old christian, son of immigrants from Rwanda, yet when people took to the streets to morn, they were joined by a mob shouting “Allah, Allah, who the fuck is Allah?” Social media had done its thing, and somewhere in the reporting of the story, someone lied about the perpetrator and called them a muslim channel migrant. This spread like wildfire, and so many who had already had sympathies with far-right leader Tommy Robinson took to the streets to riot against islam.
This is a very important fact. They were not protesting immigration, they were protesting islam. Tommy Robinson is a fascist, and not only that, but a criminal, a man who tried entering other countries under a false passport, and a man who has on multiple occasions attempted to prevent trials from happening because he was no longer the centre of attention.
Fascism is on the rise. Tommy Robinson is as prominent as ever, and the home office is yet to do anything about it. This isn’t the only time fascists have attempted to take control, you only have to think back to the Battle of Cable Street to remember what happens when government does nothing against fascism. If fascism is left to grow, the home office shows contempt for everyday folk like you and me, and we have no choice but to fight back, like the Battle of Cable Street.
The opportunities to stamp out fascism in the UK have been plentiful, from the foundation of the BNP in the 80s, to the rise of Britain First and the EDL in the Naughties, to the Murder of Jo Cox in 2016. Every time the government chose not to stamp it out. It cannot continue. We cannot subject the muslim population of our country to verbal and physical abuse. We cannot allow our communities to be divided along religious and ethnic lines. We cannot continue with inaction.
We must put an end to fascism. Proscribe parties such as the BNP, BF, the English Democrats etc and their leaders as terrorists. Proscribe the EDL and similar groups and their leaders as terrorists. Lock up Tommy Robinson for the rest of his life. They cannot be allowed a platform. They cannot be allowed to exist. They are a danger to every single person who resides in the UK.
No matter how they try and paint it, the Far-Right are our enemies, not muslims. It won’t be long before the Far-Right comes for you. The most patriotic thing you can do is oppose those who intend to destroy our country. Fuck Fascism. Fuck Tommy Robinson. Rule Britannia.
