Reports from Spain say Aston Villa are prepared to pay the 50 million euro release clause for the 20-year-old

Cope report[1] that Aston Villa have set their sight on the Athletic Club winger and the release clause of 50 million euros is more than affordable for the English side.

Cope say that Villa are prepared to offer Williams far beyond what Athletic Club will if he decides to renew his contract. Goal report[2] that Villa can afford DOUBLE what Athletic Club will offer.

It is our understanding that Unai Emery’s side will offer Williams 7 million euros a year, which works out as around £120,000 per week.

Williams is set to make his decision after he returns from Spain duty.
