Joao Felix and Atletico Madrid are both looking for new clubs for the Attacker

A Football Espana article[1] specifically name drops Aston Villa as a potential destination for Joao Felix this summer.

Felix, 23, is open to clubs lower down in the Premier League due to a lack of options among Europe’s elite, according to Marca[2]

Also in that Marca article Villa are again name dropped, with their attempt to convince Felix in January being pointed out as one of the strongest attempts for him.

Felix rejected the move in favour of Chelsea in the end, however with Unai Emery’s side now in the Europa Conference League, it makes the Birmingham-based outfit a more attractive proposition.

Joao Felix looks incredibly likely to be continuing in the Premier League next season, and a club like Aston Villa or Newcastle snatching him up would not be outside the realms of possibility.
